OKTOBERFEST; MüNCHEN.

apart from the dramatic starcrossed tragedy drama story with dinah (seriously, WHY couldn't drama leave us alone? HAHA), oktoberfest was definitely an eye opener experience.

"The Oktoberfest is a sixteen-day festival held each year in Munich, Bavaria, Germany during late September (and running to early October). It is one of the most famous events in the city and the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year, and is an enjoyable event with an important part of Bavarian culture." - my husband wikipedia.

took a 7 hour train to munich and got lost in the city (not literally lost, but still), boarded the first tram i saw outside münchen hauptbahnhof and did a tiny lil bit of 'sight'-seeing.

the tram has gotta be the best transportation in a city we can ever have. seriously, imagine what a better place baba would be if there's a tram from the station to the school. and so much more. *grumbles*

and yes... the main highlight. the oktoberfest. it's definitely not the 'Largest Volksfest (People's Fair) in the World' for nothing. there's like 6.2 million people, consuming more than 6,940,600 litres of beer from the MASSIVE beer jugs like these,

and the trip down was definitely worth it.

the happy half drunk population all standing on top of the tables dancing and drinking, the new friends i make (jose, phillip, mattias, etc.), the experience of being in a beer tent with so many drunkards and toasting the worries away... definitely worth it.

even though i came back with my bones in crucial pain, huge (and when i mean huge, i mean HUGEASS HUMONGOUS kinda HUGE) dark rings under the eye, smelly and oily hair (since i didn't shower for 2 WHOLE DAY HAHA) and whatsnot, i get to be part of oktorberfest once in my life.

i mean, who knows if i will ever go to oktoberfest ever again, right? there's only one year in europe :)

till then...

PROST!!!
