WE ARE X!
it. was. the. best. concert.
ever.
ignored the fact that i was sittin like a bored dumb for nearly 6 hours as i have no single idea who the fuck the other perfomers are (except for dir en grey cause they did openin for linkin park, but we were sleepin in the arena floor while they performed).
it was a painful wait, but i had hide's beauuuuuuutifullllllll pictures to entertain me. then, it was 6.45pm.
the sky was dark, the lights were on, and suddenly the big screen came to live.
holy mother of. imma going to see xjapan performin right before my eyes.
thennnnn the music started, and it was the classical version of forever love. HOLY MOTHER OF. the curtain won't fuckin open and we were teased to DEATH. out of NOWHERE, this helicopter just flew from right behind the stage (above, in the air
obviously), across the whole stadium vertically to another side. we were like, WTF??!! who the HELL could think of that except the brillaint yoshiki (he was the concert's executive producer) himself?
aniwayyyyyyyyyy still music flowin, teasin us to death... till FINALLY THEY CAME OUT. and i cried. i KNOW, what a over-dramatic-dramaqueen, but how can eu NOT cry when eu see them eu tell me. it was almost magical and if i didn't gain weight from the trip back to singapore/malaysia, i would had float off to neptune by now. it was alot of emotions mixed together and i can't even describe the feeling, even its 36 hours after the concert right now.
throughout the performance i was just jumping, cheering, crying, laughing, screaming and hyperventilating because i just could not BELIEVE imma seein yoshiki, toshi, pata and heath LIVE. heck, even
typing it feels unsurreal.
called ruoci in the middle cause i somewhat know that she will be hyperventilating as well if she can hear toshi sings, and might even repay me sometimes later (work on my calculator, if eu get what i mean tsktsk) and just couldn't stop screaming and going, OH MY GOD OH MY GOD, and hafta leaned on the barricade for support (we were in the FIRST ROW bitches of block D, thus the barricade). did i mention that yoshiki took off his shirt when he played the drums and it brought us to instance orgasm? HA.
we were pretty near the stage, so to speak, because the venue was GIGANTIC AS HELL. news reported that 50,000 fans showed up, and imma only like behind 300 people i think. it was pretty close, not as close as linkin park's, but close enough to see them. it was still good arena seats, right in the middle ;D
so, eu know how in concert they have this big screen at the back so that people with bad seats could still see their faces? there were 3, and they managed to put hide's perfomance nicely into actual performance, so eu feel like hide was there as well. it was like, yoshiki on the screen, toshi, then hideeee!!! then pata, then heath... they didn't leave hide out. *cries again*
after the powerful hardcore songs, the screen came to live with ancient xjapan's video clips of interviews and backstage promos.
we all cried like baby.
they showed the last interview hide was on, and alot of videos throughout the years, from X -> xjapan -> hide with spread beaver... it was unbelievable. eu have NO idea how many people were cryin, and imma not talkin about girls, but guys as well. there were ALOT of hardcore fans around, with bright red/pink hair, and some were wearin his neon green shirt/orange coat/black adidas jacket with yellow stripes/that sunnies/drag lookin red dress from 2nd album days... and ALL of them came for hide.
yoshiki then came back, on the piano this timeeeeeee, and prayed before he started his solo. awwww~~~ toshi came out and sang without eu. OHHHH MYYYYYYYY BUDDHA JUMP OVER THE WALL. it was SO good, and videos of hide and the members were showin at the screen behind.
we all cried like hungry baby.
it was so touching, all the hide jumpin on top of yoshiki or vice versa to piggyback each other and the interactions they had... yoshiki was crying too and the whole stadium was almost flooded with tears.
then the heartwrenching endless rain. it was EXACTLY like the last live, where they just sat down and hear the fans sing. i swear we repeated the whole, "endless rain~ fall on my heart, 心の傷に, let me forget all of my hate, all of the sadnesssss~~~" for
at least 20 times. but it was crazy, because when eu stopped singing and actually listen to the whole stadium, it was unsurreal. it was some 50,000 voices singing ALTOGETHER. way louder than a soccer match anytime. it was just beautiful. SO beautiful.
and then, I.V. toshi looked up at the sky and screamed, HIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
and we all cried like hungry baby whose diaper had not been changed for 3 days.
the whole stadium was shoutin hide hide hide all over and over again and it was so heartbreakin. we would sing "in the rain...." then toshi would sing "i'm calling you dear...", then we would sing "find the way..." and toshi will continue with "can't you see me standing right here?" it was just マジ美しく感動しちゃった.
i couldn't remember the order of the songs, but they played kurenai as well and it was a change of mood from emo to hardcore, and we were all jumpin up and down and screamin our heads off. they bid goodbye after that and went to rest.
if eu think this is the end, eu are SO wrong.
the stadium was not prepared for a goodbye, so they were all clappin together and cheerin for them to come out. this is where i hafta say, i have NEVER seen a much united fanbase other than X's fans. the things they did, the passion they had, is マジ信じられない.
out of NOWHERE people started doing the human wave, from one corner to another, and when the waved ended, the corner would do it again and went to another side. we were all clappin and cheerin and were amazed. then someone at the arena started it and we were doin it as well, and the stand people would clap and cheer for us. it was fun because in the arena, wave can happen in 2 ways - vertically or horizontally, so we were keepin track with the directions and cameraman was havin fun shootin us.
when the clap died down, someone would initiate the claps again and the clappin never stopped. it was so consistent and i had never seen such consistent fans before - and that's speakin alot because i had been to alot of concerts in my life to judge that.
X came out awhile after and they sang somemore, then yoshiki was at the piano and holy mother of. he played the beginnin of pink spider.
we all cried like hungry baby whose diaper had not been changed for 3 days, with an abusive mother.
and to make things even more touchin than it already was, we spotted a hide's plushie doll standin on top of yoshiki's piano. holy mother of. they really didn't leave hide out.
yoshiki came down and suddenly someone passed him a guitar. and it wasn't just
any guitar. it was the
pink heart. yoshiki hasn't played the guitar for 10 years, and he was playin it for hide. we were so high it's unbelievable.
blah blah blah, and then came the last song.
the highlight of the night, and the most extreme song i'd ever experience in a concert.
X.luna sea and the rest of the artistes came out, there were around 60 of them, and it was KUREIZI. it was SO high that i wonder why people do drugs. it was unbelievable and the stadium was so high i was afraid that we could cause an earthquake in japan.
it was the first time to see the 無敵 flags wavin infront of me. it was the first time seein X infront of me. it was the first time i did the X jump. it was the first time we shouted X with all our lungs and hearts. it was the first time i screamed and laughed and cried all at the same time.
the endin was euphoric. i couldn't tell eu how spent we were because it was by far the best endin any artiste could pull off. it was wonder
fuckinful and imma loss of words even after yes, 36 hours later.
WE ARE X!!!
yoshiki smashed the guitar after the performance, and they were runnin from center to left to right, thankin all the fans and the curtain was drawn. just when we thought it's really over, yoshiki came out again, carryin ALL OF THEIR GIANT PLUSHIE DOLLS and stood infront of the stage, lined them up and make a bow with the plushie dolls. it was SO adorable. they then really went off, but left the dolls lyin on the stage to tell us that they'll always be there.
all good things must come to an end, and it did. lynette and i just hugged and were speechless. our minds were blur, and to tell eu the truth, yoshiki gives the
BEST orgasm in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD ("and he didn't even
touch us yet." - quoted by lynette HAHA).
if anyone asked me, now, a few months later or even years, i would still be speechless because it was a truly uosguoahfoiashfoahf-ed night. i just couldn't find the right word to describe it. eu might think imma drama-mama, but ask anyone who was there. they will be speechless too. as i'd said to ruoci, i just can't even begin to tell eu guys how FANfuckingTASTIC it was.
if eu want the taste of orgasm, which i strongly suggest eu should, watch and prepare to cry.
...
X Japan; 一生追いかけまーす!!!!
WE ARE X.
