because we are human and we do not quit.
we do not quit our bad habits
and we do not quit our obsessions.
we do not quit on people
and we do not quit on the things that make us want to quit in the first place.
we are human, and we are not quitters.
here we go, thinkin, oh we would be so much better without this thing or this person
we could do so much better, and it could make lives easier
we still do not quit.
we go around in circles and gettin ourselves hurt in many occasions
being misunderstood, taken granted, having all the shits that we do not deserve
and yet we still won’t quit

because we know, if we quit,
life loses its meaning
it loses its original joy
it loses its bitchyness
it loses its ability to break hearts
and it loses its wonderful moments where we laugh from the heart.

i tried to quit you
i tried to quit many things
but i can't.
because if i quit
i wouldn't be me.
and because if i quit
i would had lost the part in me that makes me the person i am today.

so you can hurt me time and time again
you can take me for granted and you can misunderstand me
bad habits can ruin me
and obsessions can take over me
the world can stop rotating for all i care
i will still not quit
because quittin is not what i do

i hope it's not what you do too.
