i was diggin my computer last night for some files, and i discovered this playlist.

i clicked on it in confusion, and the first song i heard almost make me scream.

i couldn't stopped laughin. all the songs inside are from the boybands era of the 90s. which means, the good ol' backstreet boys, westlife, n'sync, 98 degrees, A1, savage garden, 911, code red and even hanson.

my god, i still can remember their names.

i missed those time suddenly, as i savored savage garden's i knew i love eu and reminiscing about how weihao, jackson and i would swayed along it at adrienne's birthday party some 8 years ago.

like OH MY GOD. we couldn't possibly grow up without listenin to them. tsktsk.

then i smiled and think about how crazy i was over westlife. like, the real first artiste obsession i had. KIAN ♡♡♡

i owned their every single album and watched every single music video. i could confidently said that i knew almost everythin about them and was a proud westlife fan. even my sec 1 mates can testify that for me HAHAS.

i remembered how me and cyn went all the way to KL just to watch their concert, all by ourselves and look how we are now! cyn already has 2 babies and imma goin to college next year!

man, just look at how much we'd grown up.

imma bein melodramatic again, but as i found myself singin along the songs even though i haven't listen to it for 932482 years, i realized, in horrified and surprise that i still know the lyrics. OH MY GOD. like, it's lyrics from some 10 years ago. WOW.

i realized what big part they had played in our adolescent years. HAHAS. sighs.

who could have possibly grown up without listenin to them?

eventually, when our music taste changes and when boybands don't rule the world over anymore, they disbanded and we stopped listenin to their songs and everythin... but one day. just one day, when eu hear that familiar song which used to make eu scream like a crazy fangirl some distance away, imma sure eu will sing along to the song without realizin it. and that's when eu sigh and exclaim, wow, just how much eu'd grown up.

god. how much i'd grown up.

so, quick tribute to ALL the boybands who make me smile durin those years where spice girl was cool and platform shoes were THE thing.
