i realized a lack of
SERIOUS update after i came back from the camp.
do not blame me. my mum dropped me a visit for 3 long weeks and i had been busy for uni application thing and what's not. eu guys just hafta pray for me - the annoucement of successful applicants is on 13th october, friday.
eu heard me right.
friday the thirteenth.and the most eerie part was, at exactly 699 years ago, this was the EXACT date where Pope Clement V issued secret seals orders of the Knight Templar to be opened simultaneously by his soldiers all across europe.
and then, the whole capturin and toturin of the Knights.
ahem. AMEN.
so, 699 years later, a girl by the name of Melody Chong is awaitin her faith. like, damn eerie right. SHIT i read too much of Da Vinci Code.
T_______________T
and speakin on Da Vinci Code, the movie failed terribly. i will state the OBVIOUS things they lack. [yeah, no more extreme hermonie-was-wearin-blue-not-pink-in-Harry-Potter kinda anymore. period]
1. Robert Langdon DID NOT got summoned to the Louvre in the middle of his book-signin event. he was sleepin in his room at Ritz. 2. Silas has white long hair, and red eyes. and he's albino, not white. [okay mabbie there isn't a way to differenciate albino and white, but there must be SOMETHIN]
3. Silas had to read the bible for reference to the 'keystone' he got from the Saint-Sulpice. they skip the whole part of him readin the bible which reads, 'Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further.'4. Sophie and Robert did not stop at some park and discuss their next step. they did it on the taxi, and Robert had to sniff the key before realizin the address were written on top by the black light pen. it was not craved on the key.5. Andre Vernet was not the first one to greet them at the Depository Bank Of Zurich, and his greetings was French, then English. the guy blabbered French all the way.6. They didn't enter the right account number at first. Sophie did the Fibonacci Sequence before enterin the right account number the second time round.7. They did not WALK into the bank, they drove to the bank by the hijacked taxi.8. Leigh Teabing did not give 'lemon' as a choice when he asked Robert 'Milk or lemon' with tea. he gave 'Milk or sugar?' in the book.9. They didn't show the sign of calice and blade by hand. they drew it out.10. Teabing did not have that high tech device which enable zoom in to Mary Magdalene and flip her position and what's not. he was describin the Holy Grail from a 8 foot tall paintin.11. Remy died in St. James Park, not at some harbour!12. It was raining when they were at the tomb of Sir Issac, and they walked to the Chapel House and found out it was a dead end, that's when Teabing comes in and locked the door and trapped them inside. the movie is total shit.
13. Teabing didn't realized the cryptex was opened when he was caught by the police. Robert told him after he 'broke' the cryptex at the tomb of Issac. Police came after Teabing learned of what happened.
14. Sophie has a god damn brother. He did not appear in the movie.
15. Sophie was not reported dead in newspaper. only her parents, grandmother and brother.
16. The Priory of Sion did not appeared in the movie.
17. It was nighttime when Sophie and Robert parted, not under bloody sunlight.
18. Bishop Aringarosa did not 'used' Captain Fache, unlike how the movie went.
19. Silas died in a park, not gettin shot by the policemen.
20. Bishop Aringarosa was carried to the hospital by Silas and not by some ambulances.there's a HELL LOTS more in between but i got too lazy.
AND I CANNOT FORGET THIS.THEY TOTALLY LEFT OUT THE 1ST CRYPTEX!!! THERE'S 2 CRYPTEX INSIDE THE ROSEWOOD BOX, NOT 1. fine, that point aside, another unbelieveable mistake was that the cryptex was white in the movie. IT'S BLACK FOR GOD SAKE. the 1st cryptex was white, the 2nd was white. black from white, men from women, black is men while white is white. WHY CAN'T THEY DO THIS PROPERLY?i wanna slap someone so badly. i KNOW imma really anal but COME ON. i read this book WAYYYY before it got so mother effin popular and commercialized. it was somewhere in 2004, or even late 2003 i remember. mabbie the book doesn't even had 'International Best Seller' on it hahas. i read it as it was from the same author of the book Angels and Demons - which too, got commercialized after Dan Brown became famous.
i LURFE Angels and Demons, and i even remember tellin joanna that i wanna go to see the CERN in switzerland. that's the physics lab by the way. i remember fallin in lurfe with the storyline, as it's all about physics, and i remember i remained giddy after slammin the book shut. it's brillant work, that piece. and thus, the anticipation of Da Vinci Code and so on.
oh shit. imma borin eu guys out with the bookworm element in me HAHAS. but i really hope that producers for film will actually FOLLOW the book when they do a movie about it. i know its hard to please those who didn't read the book, but the book is FAMOUS because of it's written content. i do not see how changin it will, in what ways, attract more audiences.
so if they start makin a movie on The 5 People You Meet In Heaven, Tuesday With Morrie, and even The Child Called It and 1984. i SWEAR i will burn the producers if even, say, the color of the rollercoaster in Heaven is change.
that just proves how much i lurfe the books. HAHA.
OH AND QUESTION FOR DA VINCI CODE READERS.
what ever happened to Robert and Vittoria?Vittoria was Robert's girlfriend, after the Vatican incident, and Robert did thought of her when he saw the Effiel Tower. but whatever happened to them in the end? Robert and Sophie were goin to date right? and they kissed right? oh my god. i never imagine Robert to be such playboy. anyone but him tsk.
ok imma shuttin the bookworm me inside again. ciaos.
SIDENOTE> will update the summer camp details when imma not down with flu.
